Ork Vom Stahlfang a German import, has sired over 30 beautiful healthy puppies and at 9 yrs old just sired another 11 with OFA excellent Angel of Kimmelot Kennels in CA. I attribuate a lot of this to his excellent breeding and Mannatech's Ambrotose, ask me about it.
His OFA was done when he was 3 years old and came back Normal-Fair. However, within the last 6 months VCA South County Animal Hospital in Arroyo Grande, CA x-rayed his hips again which showed he had excellent hip and joint conformation. Many breeders have commented that they have run into the same problem with the OFA. If you have, I would appreciate comments on your experience. The recent pictures have not been sent into the OFA as of yet. For those that understand joint conformation you are welcome to see the photos of his hips, or call Dr. Paulick at 805-489-1361. I will be posting a letter from Dr. Paulick in the future stating what he found with his hips. So you can look for that as well.
Ork is a very even tempered dog and shows exceptional intelligence in training. His puppies have all been beautiful and most came from the same bitch, Cindy Countach Vom Haus, whose grandfather was Louis Von Maltesta in Germany. Several of his puppies were black and tan, but the majority were sable like Cindy, and a few were black and silver. All had expceptional health.
